Inspired by theory surrounding past lives, The Blue Season calls to question the finality of both death and time. Through film installation, dance and live accompaniment, the work establishes an experimental narrative that transports the audience through a series of deaths, rebirths, and traumas. What life did we live before we knew these bodies? The Blue Season is an archive of an imagined past and the experiences that were lived there. Who did we love? How did we die? This work immerses the audience in vivid moments, holding a magnifying glass over a single drop in the ocean. BITEdown Collective invites its audience to join them in a world of our most lucid dreams and past realities.

About the Company: BITEdown Collective is a New York based multidisciplinary initiative founded in collaboration. Facilitated by artistic director Aundrea Anderson, collaborators in film, music, dance and design are brought together to generate immersive live performance experiences. The Blue Season is the collective’s latest ambition.
