Founded in 2017 by Georgia Usborne and Rosie DeAngelo, Create:ART is a multidisciplinary exchange between emerging artists and audiences in New York City. The platform facilitates artists with performance opportunities and residencies. Their Brooklyn-based bimonthly performance event serves the local community, and encourages artists from every medium to share their work throughout the creative process. Their Gallim residency program offers four artists annually exclusive access to Gallim’s landmark studio, culminating in a sharing of work at a Create:ART event.

Create:ART is sponsored, in part, by the Greater New York Arts Development Fund of the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, administered by Brooklyn Arts Council (BAC). They are also grateful to receive support and mentorship from Arts by the People and Gallim Dance.
