Endless Wonders is a digital gallery featuring a long-form, experimental video Endless Wonders (2021), which captures time spent by Jordan Demetrius Lloyd and Daniel Kersh at CPR in November 2020. Embarking on a journey of light, sound, movement, color and texture, Lloyd and Kersh transform the space into a container of infinite possibility and research.
Embracing stillness and patience, the video warps three long days of footage into an immersive virtual experience. In the video, Kersh uses generative abstract artwork as a series of projected installations that paint the walls and act as a canvas for Lloyd’s movement explorations. These installations feature Artificial Intelligence as Kersh’s main tool, utilizing Machine Learning models as a paintbrush and photographic data as pigment. Video artworks, Macro and Micro (2021) and Thinking and Feeling (2021), can be accessed individually in the digital gallery.
Endless Wonders is presented by CPR as an extension of Jordan Demetrius Lloyd's residency as a 2019 CPR Artist-in-Residence. CPR regularly partners with artists, organizations, and collectives to produce and present programming that exposes audiences to new ways of creating, producing, and thinking about work.
Endless Wonders was created, in part, with support from a Mertz Gilmore Foundation Late Stage Production Stipend.
